- Q: What is your role at Pipefish? Briefly describe what you do (one or two sentences)
-
A: I am a Pipefish Partner specialising in Enterprise Service Management Services. I work with organisations to improve and transform core IT support and service
delivery processes — whether that requires people, process or technology changes.
- Q: When did you start working at Pipefish?
- A: I started working for Pipefish in 2014 and joined the management team as a partner in 2017.
- Q: What do you like most about Pipefish?
-
A: The Pipefish people. They are a group of hard-working and talented individuals that I highly respect. They also know how to have fun whilst working hard too
which makes it more enjoyable.
- Q: What is the favourite part about working for Pipefish?
-
A: The Pipefish people! Have I said that before??? Working with a team of people that pitch in together and support each other to get the job done and done well.
- Q: How did you first learn about Pipefish?
-
A: I worked with the founding Directors Mark and Glen before joining the team. Based on my time working with them and others who have also joined it was an easy
decision to come on board.
- Q: Favourite travel spot you have been to? Why?
-
A: It's Vanuatu for me for a number of reasons. It's only 2 hours from Brisbane so for a week's holiday, you don't lose too much time travelling. It's beautiful,
easy, and uncrowded. One week is all you need to feel like you've had a long relaxing break.
- Q: Motto or personal mantra?
-
A: "Just Do It". Nike were onto something with that one as its quite personal. For me procrastination is such a waste of time — trust yourself, make a call and, run
with it. Do not be afraid of failure and learn from it.
- Q: What do you like to do on your days off?
-
A: I don't have a green thumb, but I do like to potter outside in the garden most weekends and I like mowing the lawn. Put in some air pods and play some music and
time just flies. I do have to limit myself though as I've been caught a few times with sunburn!
